The round runes provide a specific boost to a specific stat, such as a 3 point increase in the armor rating. Runes are separated into armor runes and weapon runes, and for each of these there are round runes and diamond shaped runes. Runes are also offered as rewards for delivering animal parts to the Hunter's Hut and fish to the Fishing Hut at Ravensthorpe. Merchants have a small selection of runes that can be purchased. Runes are looted from defeated enemies and loot chests.
